Our occasional rider program allows non-vanpool members to use our services on a pay-per-ride basis. Our occasional rider rates are as little as $35.00 one way or $70.00 round trip (Depending on Destination).
We offer this service as a "trial ride" for perspective full time riders and also as an affordable option for people that may work locally but need to occasionally travel to the DC area for business. This service is also ideal for normal commuters that may be temporarily without a personal vehicle or sharing a single vehicle with a spouse, loved one or roommate.
How the Occasional Rider Program works:
- First, go to our Routes page and find a van that fits your needs.
- Second, call 1-877-RIDEK2K and check for seat availability.
- Third, Show up at the designated meeting point and Enjoy The Ride!!!
